Soma Ware

Soma-yaki (相馬焼) is a traditional pottery from Fukushima Prefecture, best known for its distinctive double-walled construction, which helps keep drinks warm while remaining comfortable to hold. 

Its pieces often feature a crackled green glaze, hand-painted galloping horses and the traditional “running horse” motif—a symbol of strength, good fortune and the region’s samurai heritage.
