Hagi-yaki Sake Cups, Set of 6 — Blush Pink Ash Glaze, Hand-Built, Unglazed Rim & Foot
Hagi-yaki Sake Cups, Set of 6 — Blush Pink Ash Glaze, Hand-Built, Unglazed Rim & Foot
Hagi ware is one of Japan’s most beloved tea-ceremony ceramics, prized for its soft, porous glaze that’s said to change character with use over time (“Hagi no nanabake” — the seven transformations of Hagi). The blush pink to lavender-grey tones and fine crackle seen here are classic hallmarks of the style, developing their patina with age and use.
