Japanese Mini Chawan - Dense Karakusa Scroll Pattern, Cobalt Blue Underglaze
A small chawan-style bowl featuring a dense, all-over karakusa (arabesque scroll) pattern in cobalt blue, with fine repeating spirals and dot-work covering nearly the entire exterior. The rim shows a raw, unglazed edge in a warm buff tone, contrasting against the deep blue body. Interior is left plain with a soft grey-toned glaze.
Compact, rounded form narrowing slightly at the base — a versatile mini chawan size, suited for tea, rice, or as a small serving bowl.
