A small hand-thrown Japanese studio vase, cylindrical in form with two loop handles at the rim strung with a twisted natural cord for hanging. Finished in a soft white/grey glaze, hand-painted with green leaf motifs and blue vertical brushstrokes running down the body. The glaze shows natural drips and pooling, with visible crazing consistent with age and handmade character.
A charming small-scale piece, well suited for a single stem or dried flower display, either hung via its cord or displayed standalone on a shelf. Please see photos for exact condition, including glaze crazing and minor surface marks.
