Shino-Yaki Faceted Yunomi Cup, Blush Pink Ash Glaze
A Japanese studio ceramic cup (yunomi) in the Shino tradition, hand-thrown with an angular, faceted body. Finished in a classic Shino glaze: a soft crackled white base with warm pink and rust-red blushing where the glaze thins over the ridges, and scattered iron speckling throughout. Fine crawling and crackle texture runs across the surface, a hallmark of genuine Shino ware, giving it a soft, tactile character.
The unglazed footring reveals the pale stoneware clay body, and a small impressed maker’s stamp is visible near the base. Please see photos for exact condition, including natural glaze crawling, crackling, and any small chips or wear consistent with genuine Shino pottery.
