Tsuboya Ware by Toshiyuki Kinjo Rice Bowl — Copper-Red Glaze, Medallion Fish Motif
A rounded, wide-mouthed bowl by Toshiyuki Kinjo, finished in a glossy copper-red glaze that carries through to the interior, framed by a warm tan/olive rim band.
Set into the centre is a hand-painted circular medallion, outlined in blue, depicting a bold, stylized fish head rendered in iron-black, blue, and ochre — a motif characteristic of Okinawan studio ceramics.
The exterior repeats the deep copper-red glaze down to a wide, unglazed cream-white stoneware footring, marked off by a thin dark line. The recessed base is glazed pale cream and bears a brushed black character signature, confirming the artist's authorship.
