Hagi-Style Yunomi Tea Cups, Pair — Spouted Rim, Twisted Footring with Ash-Spots

This second pair of hand-thrown cups shares the same soft grey glaze and warm salmon-pink ash spotting as the first set, but each piece here has a pinched, slightly pointed lip pulled into a small pouring spout — giving the rim a gentle asymmetry rather than a fully round mouth. The footring is the standout detail: instead of a plain trimmed base, the clay has been carved and layered into a raised, twisted rope-like collar with a small notch cut into one side, likely a maker's mark, stacking spur, or simply a decorative flourish distinguishing this pair from the first.

The unglazed footring exposes the same warm reddish-brown clay body, while the glaze breaks into soft crazing and pools into deeper rust tones toward the base — consistent with the ash-glaze, iron-spot firing style seen across this group.
