Hagi-yaki Leaf-Shaped Footed Bowl, Handled, Pink-Blush Ivory Glaze

A Japanese Hagi-yaki footed bowl, hand-shaped into an organic leaf form with an irregular scalloped rim and a small applied loop handle. Finished in the classic Hagi glaze style: a soft milky ivory with warm pink and peach blushing where the glaze thins, showing the clay body beneath. The bowl rests on three small nub feet in a contrasting darker grey-brown glaze, echoing the rim trim. Fine crackling (kannyu) is visible throughout the glaze, a hallmark of traditional Hagi ware that develops character with use over time.

The interior shows a subtle incised leaf-vein line detail near the rim and a small maker’s mark on the underside. Please see photos for exact condition, including glaze crazing and any wear consistent with age and handling.
